How To Recruit :

Start campaign as Count Noctilus, find all the legendary lords in the lords recruitementmenu.
(save game compatible)

Note :
In order to give these custom LL unique gameplay, they have unique building in their horde-ship. So you have to build the main cabin (which sometimes is a pyramid !), end for it to be built (1 turn) and then build other building. Basic building cost 0 population so that after 2 turns you can start recruiting early-game themed unit.
This also explain why I had to rework horde population mechanique : population required for horde building do not increase anymore the more buildings built you have and only increase regarde tier-level.

Known issues
_______________________________________________________________

In order to make my mod work, I had to set manually VP horde building population cost : now they don’t increase the more building you have.

The scripted even (eg at the beginning of campaign) give a random engineer / champion from the faction so you may receive a skaven or a chaos dwarf one instead of a gunnery wight/mornghul. This is an issue I am aware of and I don’t know how to fix it yet.
Also, this mod make TK heroes unrecruitable for TK (sorry).

When recruiting Amanhotep, he may become invisible if you try to build his first horde building over the maelstrom (you can still access him with lord’s menu. You HAVE TO build the first building (main cabin/pyramid) in order to see all the others buildings !

To do list :
– enjoy my own mod a little bit
– checking that everything work fine (doing so)
– fix bugs
– add tech research for the new units
– add some new themed heroes / units
– May be make this mod a stand-alone (no other mod required)
– May be do a SFO submod.

Feel free to give feedbacks and reports bugs.

Lore
_______________________________________________________________

Since his rebirth from his previous life as Nyklaus von Carstein, Count Noctilus has founded his own darkling empire, binding the Shadewraith to his bidding, reanimating the rotting carcass of the Skabrus and striking foul deals with the captains of the Black Kraken and the Curse of Zandri.

=> The Skaven rat-lord known as Skretch, Warlord of Clan Skurvy, was once a prosperous piratical mastermind. But his luck ran out when his flagship was swallowed up by an Orb Leviathan, having mistaken its bioluminescent lure for a haul of warpstone. With verminous desperation to survive, the trapped Skaven ate the giant beast from the inside out, but were asphyxiated before they could escape the sea monster’s husk. Discovering its drifting cadaver, Count Noctilus cast a mighty Necromantic ritual to raise the Orb Leviathan, but also inadvertently brought Skretch and his crew back to life too!

=> Amanhotep, called Amanhotep the Intolerant, is a Tomb King and the ruler of the city of Zandri in Nehekhara.
When the infamous pirate Captain Jaego Roth undertook a daring coastal raid, looting countless treasures from the city of Zandri to finance his campaign, he could not have predicted the consequences of his actions. Roused by the desecration of his realm, Amanhotep vowed eternal vengeance on those who had stolen from him.
Summoning forth his skeletal legions, Amanhotep commanded his tireless servants to labour night and day until they had built a warship worthy of his quest for revenge. Along the flanks of the Curse are massive statues of the Nehekharan gods, no less than a Necrosphinx and four Necrolith Colossi stand ready to protect their master should the need arise, given unlife in order to hasten the demise of their prey. The most lethal weapon at the Curse of Zandri’s disposal is the arching structure that rose above the mighty warship’s deck. It was rebuilt to hold a gigantic sapphire – the fabled Jewel of the River Mortis, heirloom of the sun god Ptra himself. By channelling the solar energies harvested by King Amanhotep’s pyramidal tomb into the Jewel, the Curse of Zandri could direct a great beam of burning light from its arcing stern into an enemy vessel.
After many long weeks of relentless construction, the Curse of Zandri was finally ready for the hunt.

=> Tordrek Hackhart was once one of the most gifted Dwarf Engineers in Barak Varr and the undisputed master of building submersible ironcraft. Ultimately, his intense rivalry with Red Brokk Gunnarsson was to be his downfall, and he was banished in ignominy for his failed attempt on Gunnarsson’s life. Hackhart managed to escape in his latest creation, a strange tentacled warship, the Black Kraken, that he had built after a series of troubled fever-dreams.
The lost brethren known as the Chaos Dwarfs are experts in the art of binding Daemons into their engines of war, and there are those who say the Black Kraken is possessed by a Daemon of the deep. Rumour has it that its captain, heavily modified by his own prodigious skills in the arts of engineering, died many years ago – but that the unholy pacts he made in the name of vengeance were so potent that somehow he is kept alive beyond the grave.
The most recent myths that surround the mysterious Kraken-ship speak of its allegiance to the Dreadfleet, and a bargain made between Chaos Dwarf and Vampire Count – the tattered remnants of Captain Hackhart’s soul exchanged for a last chance to destroy his nemesis, Red Brokk, and to prove his supremacy as the true master of the seas.
