Medieval 1100 AD – New campaign
I’m glad to present you massive Medieval 1100 AD mod update which we worked for last year! From now all faction leaders became Mortal and campaign has 4 turns pear year.
Also new mechanics added: if your leader dies and he has no adult heir, secession comes. Btw your heir has to fight at least in one battle to have Rank 2 ("for bravery and recognition").
The main changes:
1. Added 12 new historical factions on map (western Europe and Anatolia reworked mostly). Total 101 factions (15 playable now).
2. Constantinople and Paris moved to more proper locations on the map.
3. Most of provinces were split/relocated and renamed (thanks {LUD} Invade Me).
4. Added 15 new big 6-slot cities on the map as Province capitals.
5. Extra 1 building slot given to 110 settlements.
6. Made walls for 92 settlements.
7. Elite units’ size decreased.
8. Added proper family trees for playable factions.
9. Added 20+ secessionist factions for all subcultures.
10. Many other small things done like new buildings, icons, effects, diplomacy, goals, etc.
11. Five cities on the map changed location (first time in R2): Constantinople, Braga, Venice, Krakow and Sis.
