Clone Creation
Features
You can create a clone of yourself or anyone else in the world via character interaction.
You can decide the age of the clone.
You can change the gender of the clone.
You can choose a name for the clone. (Same gender clones default to the template’s name)
You can choose if the clone will be your child, the template’s sibling, the template’s child or unrelated.
The clone will be in your court.
You will get a weak indebted hook on a same age or 16 year old clone
Same age and 16 year-old clones will get a pressed claim on the template’s titles
The following are copied from the template and applied to the clone:
faith
culture
sexuality
appearance/dna
traits (excluding temporary physical ones like wounded or ill and traits from mods)
stats
claims
Bugs I am aware of:
some minor discrepancies with character’s stats
same age clones have incorrect birthdays and are sometimes older than the original
16 year old clones of templates younger than 16 wont have education traits
Other features I would like to add:
copy template’s prestige level
copy template’s piety level
copy template’s secrets
copy template’s relations (lover, rival, etc.)
unique icon for clone trait
tooltips
support for traits from popular mods
Other Ideas:
Elope scheme between clone and spouse of template?
cloner trait (w/gamerule)
add a clone secret for cloner and clones (w/ gamerule)
add a scheme to clone someone instead of character interaction (w/ gamerule)
set clone as rival of original? (w/ gamerule)
cost for cloning? (money or prestige etc w/gamerule)
add chances for genetic drift (failed clones/superior clones)
cloning dead characters (probably not possible)
