Quality Overlay
A simple mod to display colored overlay for different quality things (weapons and apparels) and buildings when toggle on.
There’s a toggle button ("Qc icon") at the bottom right menu alongside with vanilla buttons like auto-home.
Default color palette for Awful to Legendary is gradient from Red to light Blue. However, you can change them in mod settings.
Overlay is somehow notorious in Rimworld cuz they make game laggy. Keeping this in mind, the code in this mod is well-optimized and use a sparse bool drawer built from scratch. From my test, it’s faster than vanilla method, and will not have noticeable performance impact in game.
Should be compatible with everything. Place it anywhere in your mod list. Safe to add or remove mid-save.
