Visually Reskins or adds new skins to enemies in the game, this is a smaller mod in comparison to my previous version that was mostly for ABA
This version of the mod covers based game, Elite Alien Pack, Advent Assault Troopers, Advent Hunter, Advent Warlock, Muton Destroyer and MOCX, each mod is required only if you want the changes for them, and are dependent on assets from those original mods as well so you can’t use em for another unit without the original mod.

These are additions, and a couple of replacements for enemy units and weapons where I think they make sense, tailored towards a recent mod list.
All changes are cosmetic only and do not change the existing mods in ways that change their gameplay.
This mod is not compatible with my ABA version, there will be conflicts.
Make sure to install this mod after any of the required mods.
The mod was created with ChristopherOdd’s newest Xcom season and it’s modlist in mind, compatibility with most other mods was made in mind hence the existence of this mod when used with certain amounts of enemy mods.
All the listed DLC as well as it’s mods are hard requirements, the individual enemy mods covered like Elite Alien pack are not.
WSR, Enemy Reskinner, Template Editor and Iridar’s Advent weapons are required.
This mod incorporates a few of my existing mods:
Proper Commander Avatar
Archon Visual Diversity (although the female Archon is gold here)
Prototype Sectopod skin.
Advent Hunter’s new Sniper
Shieldbearer Weapon visual replacement.
MOCX Mec Visual Replacement
Going left to right,
Base game Sectoid with 3 additional skins, armor for high ranking Sectoids, Armor for Sectoids who work as Peacekeepers, Ragged clothing as disguise.
Sectoid Commander with 1 additional skin, for high ranking Commanders who work as Peacekeepers
Base game Viper with 1 additional skin, for Vipers who work as Peacekeepers.
Viper Elite with 1 additional skin, alternate coloring because surely some high ranking Aliens would be more individualized?
Base game Muton with 3 additions skins, modular armor configurations and ritualistic armor/tattoos
Muton Elite with 1 additional skins, Xcom EU inspired texture to bring back some of that game’s vibe as an alt look, I could imagine several of the invasion era Muton Elites going through the conversion process for the gene splicing some Mutons got, so Red/Gold = were part of the invaders, Pureple/Blue = those created after the invasion.
Ashlynne_Lee’s Muton Destroyer with replacement skins at tier 2-4, lore-wise it’s Padded armored to account for their clumsiness, the tier 4 version has different colors in order to not be confused with the tier 3 one since both can be around after Force Level 20
Base game Archon with 1 additional skin, Kexx female armor/shell because it fits the Archon’s theme to have a similar "statue" look designed after the female body like the base game Archon’s male body design.
Base game Chryssalid with 1 additional skin, Neonate look for variation
Base game Sectopod with 1 additional skin, Prototype colors for variation
Base game Commander Avatar with 1 replacement skin, cutscene colors for consistency
Base game Avatar with 1 replacement skin, hooded look to better fit in with Advent look
Base game Elite Priest with 1 replacement skin, alternate capeless Claus Purge Priest armor and blue skin for the Elder’s most loyal soldiers
Claus Advent Assault Troopers with replacement skins, military division themed reskins to better match their lore and to reduce similarities with Advent Troopers from a distance.
Ashlynne_Lee’s Advent Warlock with replacement skins, Lord_Poncho Psionic stasis suit to make them standout from Advent Troopers as the unit functions very differently from a Trooper, the tier 4 version has different colors in order to not be confused with the tier 3 one since both can be around after Force Level 20.
Ashlynne_Lee’s Advent Armored Trooper with replacement skins, Silver armored Claus Trooper to make it clear that these guys are their own unit.
MOCX Mec with 1 replacement skin, Grey/Gold Advent Mec to prevent confusion with base game Heavy Mec.
Muton Destroyer Rifle with Claus Hunter Rifle replacement skin with the Muton Destroyer’s weapon FX, to make the weapon standout with it’s different effects from the normal Muton rifle such as the concussion blast.
Advent Trooper tier 3 rifle replaced with my custom Plasma rifle which uses Iridar’s Advent Plasma FX
Advent Officer/General rifles replaced with Iridar Advent Battle Rifle
Advent Stunlancer tier 3 rifle replaced with my custom Plasma rifle which uses Iridar’s Advent Plasma FX
Advent Shieldbearer rifles replaced with Advent Priest rifle and Iridar’s Advent Sonic Cannon
Advent Priest tier 3 rifle replaced with Iridar’s Advent Sonic Rifle
Advent Hunter’s sniper rifles replaced with Iridar’s Advent Sniper Rifle
Any unit from another mod that uses the base game Advent rifles covered by the mod gets their weapon visually replaced with the new Advent weaponry.
Reveal animations in general will have it so that Aliens with multiple skins might sometimes display another skin in favor of the one that they actually have, this issue is the same one from World War L and my Archon visual diversity mod.
Thanks to many:
Iridar: For the Advent Weapon Ghost Templates used on several enemies.
Claus: For the several enemy units plus weapons that were used in this mod in order to make good use out of all these assets that he has graciously allowed others to use, as well as granting permission to change the Advent Assault Trooper looks via this mod.
Ashlynne_Lee: For granting permission to visually change their units via this mod.
lago: For the enemy reskinning mod which makes any of the enemy model stuff possible.
Max: For the tint maps used on the Advent Assault Troopers
Rusty Dios and ObelixDK for the full Sectoid reveal animation bug fix, that fixes the texture override that happens with a certain animation of the Sectoids during their reveal animation.
Kexx for their Archon Valkyrie model.
Mr Kablamm0fish and Vortex for Avatars with hoods and the Commander Avatar restoration mod assets.
Lord_Poncho for their Advent Crew Replacer mod and it’s Stasis Suit with hands model.
Firaxis: For Xcom 2 and Chimera Squad, the latter of which was the source of many models in this mod.
The Pavonis/LW2 team including James "JCLewis" Karlson and Chris "Capnbubs" Mansell for a few of the enemy models used in this mod.
Anyone is free to use any of the enemy models that are marked as "Chimera" in the content files, since they are from Chimera Squad it should be alright to use.
