The original Lord of the Kings mod

At the moment, the mod ONLY works on version 1.4.4!
BECAUSE THE MOD CHANGES THE WARDROBE GREATLY, IT IS NO LONGER COMPATIBLE WITH CFP !!!

When rolling back the game to version 1.4.4 – DO NOT FORGET to DISABLE the Royal Court!

Update to version 1.5 is scheduled for THE FIRST HALF OF MAY!

So a little bit about LotK.

This is a wonderful project made on the pure enthusiasm of the original author, KingKrispy !
But since he is no longer engaged in supporting it, I took upon myself to finalize this project at my discretion.

THE MOD WILL DEVELOP IN 3 STAGES!
This is a rough map of what to expect.
We reserve the right to introduce changes both earlier and later.

– 1 Stage
1) Formation of a factional and religious map.
2) Settling the map with different races.
3) Creation of a sustainable selection model between races.
4) Optimization of the old code.

– Stage 2
1) Update to game version 1.5 – Royal Court.
2) Complete reworking of religions and their dogmas.
3) Complete processing of innovations.
4) Complete overhaul of the army and buildings.
5) Complete overhaul of clothing for each culture.
6) Creation of new solutions for each culture. From the call of any troops to elevation to the semi-divine rank.

– Stage 3
1) Creation of new mechanics of interaction with religion. Council of High Priests, etc.
2) In the process of thinking.

– What has already been done?

1) Full-fledged races have appeared, at the moment there are about 20 of them. (03/21/2022)
2) Interesting events and features related to these races have appeared. For example, "Elevations".
3) The fractional map has been greatly transformed, for comparison, you can compare map of the original and this Rebuild)
4) A lot of old code has been rewritten, unnecessary configs and triggers have been removed.
5) Added new clothes. There is also an active correction on asigning existing clothes.
6) The functionality of race selection has been greatly redesigned. For more information, see the topic "race guide".
7) Old religions have been changed and new religions have been added, doctrines for them have been reworked.
8) Innovations, troops and buildings are partially affected. So far, it has been postponed until the map is finalized.
9) Each playable character was created and added by me personally. No scripted characters.
10) Heavily redesigned racial traits, added uniqueness for each race depending on the habitat.
11) Added new features. For example, related to the events "The Lord of Shadda’narra" and "The Lord of Faella’narra".
12) Redesigned AI behavior depending on racial traits.

Active work in progres on LORE of the mods universe, design of various races history and theyr relations towards each other.
