Roman Flavor
An overhaul mod to add flavor to Roman gameplay. This adds eight new men-at-arms regiments, a new cultural tradition, two new traits to the game, several major decisions, and several minor decisions and events to the game. Still adding more stuff; if people have ideas, feel free to share in comments and I might add them. I probably will not add any more men-at-arms regiments; Northern Lords only added Jomsviking Pirates, Huscarls, Varangian Veterans, and Vigmen, so four regiments per culture seems appropriate to stick to in the interests of not unbalancing the game too badly.
I fully expect that at some point, Paradox will release a Byzantine or a Roman flavor pack that will immediately obsolete this entire mod.
This mod is not achievements-compatible.
Please note that to be able to use the WRE features, you will need to start a new game with the mod active. Unfortunately, CK3 only sets up titles at game start, when all the provinces and titles are handed out initially. So, if you attempt to load the mod into an old game, the Western Roman Empire title doesn’t exist and cannot be granted. I’m not sure if there’s a way around this via console commands.
Please see Discussions for a complete explanation of features (Steam has a limit for the number of characters you can put into the description of a mod).

Thanks to the Succession Expanded team (TheGib770, Celticus, EmrysValdr, Wesh, Uber); their mod gave me the insight I needed to fix something I spent three hours on trying to get working.
I am not making any money or receiving any financial gain of any kind from this mod, nor do I intend to.
