This mod adds work zone options to the following buildings:
– Drone Hub
– Artificial Sun
– Subsurface Heater
– Tribo Electric Scrubber
– Missile Defense Tower
– Core Heat Conventor (Green Planet Only)
When building around congested bases with many Drone Hubs it can be confusing when zones overlap.
When building new bases and placing objects it is frustrating when you cant keep the work zone visible.
Default game turns on all work zones for all hubs only when one is selected.
This mod allows you to control on an individual basis each of the above buildings’ visible work zone with three options plus a reset.
Here are the following work zone options:
– Show Work Zone
– Always Show Work Zone
– Hide Work Zone
– Reset All Work Zones to ON during save
– Resets and removes stuck workzones
Click the zone section button to toggle zone modes.
Show Work Zone
This is the normal game work zone display. When clicking on any of the above building types, all buildings set to this will light up their work zone.
Always Show Work Zone
This mode causes the individual building work zone to always be visible even when a building is not selected. Great when building a new base and you need to place objects like depots or solar panels.
You can set two Hubs as always visible and then easily place objects in their overlapping zones which stay visible.
Hide Work Zone
This mode causes the individual building work zone to always be hidden when selecting any building from the above list, including the hub set as hidden. This is handy when working on a congested base with many Drone Hubs that overlap.
Reset All Work Zones – Including Stuck Workzones
If you have a bunch of workzones turned on or off and want to quickly reset them to default, select any building of that type and right click the mode section button.
This will also clear any workzones that may have been stuck for that building type.
Each building (in the list above) now has a button/section in its Information Panel. Click any building and click the panel option for Work Zones.
The Button cycles between the three settings. See screenshot above.
The button/section is normally toggled through the three above options with left click. If you right click the button you return ALL work zones back to the default Show Work Zone option.
This is handy when you set a bunch of Drone Hubs during a big construction phase and when done, just select any hub and right click to return all setting to Show On.
This mod does not add new buildings and is compatible with any mod that alters these Building Classes.
This mod does change the functionality in all buildings (of types listed above) work visibility functions. If you remove the mod before resetting the buildings, the buildings will no longer show their work zones.
To reset the buildings to the original functionality there is a Mod Config Option to restore all building functionality On Game Save.
Set this option to On and save your game. You can then safely remove this mod without loosing the work zones.
This option is normally off, unless you intend to remove the mod.
You can set this to on and it will stay on for the game but return to off on when starting a new game.
This mod uses the new Mod Config Reborn giving you the ability to change some parameters.

This mod also adds some come to detect work zone hex corrpution. If it detects corruption it will fix it.
This feature is on by default, but can be turned off with a Mod Config Option.
Only turn it off if you are told to do so, or suspect some sort of interference.
