Better Combat
This mod makes combat more challenging and realistic. Skilled warriors have more advantage due to increased initiative and damage, but even they need some armor if they want to survive heavy hits.
(Use as many attack slots as you prefer using separate mods)
Changes:
– Attack slots 3
– Blocking from behind limited to 35+
– Reworked block chance
– Skilled warriors now attack much more often
– +50% more damage (faster and more risky fights)
– Organ damage from blunt weapon
– Blood loss now makes sense
– Toughness is less punishing for low level and less rewarding for high level (dmg bonus -50%/+50, bleeding reworked)
– Less stumble for high level toughness
– No stumble and attack stop for light hits
– Faster dodge
– No matrix dodge animation
– str xp rate from fights x4
– strength xp rate from walking x2
Overall it feels more "realistic" to me.
Skilled warrior with good weapon will slice off your limbs in no time. You are a tough guy? Now even you will want some armor.
No more crazy situations when low level is dying just because he got scared and high level can’t be killed even by master with meitou weapon. It’s about 2 times survival difference for 1/99 toughness(direct damage and wounds/bleeding).
You want to mob bugmaster with low level/armor squad? Good luck with that.
Bleeding is something to fear.
You don’t want to lose a limb and be unconscious for a long time without a help.
Katana guys can bleed you white before you lose all the health in vital body parts.
Designed to be played with 1x game multipliers.
You can modify bleeding and death chance by slider at the beginning of the game(or import).
