Description:

Everyone’s Favourite Viper cop, Torque, is now playable in XCOM 2!

Features
  • Torque herself in XCOM 2
  • A custom class designed for her, loosely based of her CS class, with some creative liberty’s, of course. Featuring 26 unique abilities, with most scaling to her rank (Inspiration from Proficiency classes).
  • Several customisation options for Torque, Including the alternative model from Torque Makeover
  • By default, Torque is unkillable, However, this can be changed inside XComTorqueSquadmate.ini. Otherwise, She will always bleed out if she can.

Inquisitor Class

Inspired by her Chimera Squad class, and loosely based around it, the Inquisitor class acts as a powerhouse in close quarters combat, and dealing with groups of enemies, whether that be with her Brawler skill tree, or dealing CC with her Biological tree. She can also pull both allies and enemies, as well as power up her bind with the Constrictor tree.

While excelling against groups of organic enemies, she weaker in dealing with mechanical or large units, and suffers in long range firefights, although this is partially mitigated with some abilities of her.

By default, the Inquisitor can equip Rifles, Shotguns or Bullpups as primaries, Pistols, Arc Throwers or Holo Targeters as secondaries. With Dedicated Pistol Slot, she can equip Swords, Sawn offs or Combat Knifes as a sidearm. She is also compatible with Dual Pistols, being still able to use her class abilities with such weapons.

Note: Torque wont have access to her spits or pull unless she has her unique M.A.W equipped.

How to begin

Torque is added at campaign start, and appears in gatecrasher for now.
For those who installed mid-campaign, the command ‘AddTorqueToHQ’ will add her to your current campaign

In future, I plan to have a mission chain where you initially encounter Torque as an enemy, and later recruit her down the line, but for now, she acts similar to the Jane Kelly starting soldier mod.

Requirements

This mod depends on Allies Unknown Redux Species: Vipers for all of Torque’s animation and some of her abilities functions. Without it, your game WILL crash on startup.

Requires Torque Voice Pack for her voice, Obviously. Without, Torque will have no voice.

Requires LW2 Classes and perks for the Brigadier rank, and for the Inquisitor’s random perks, While it will run without, Torque will be missing some random perks and won’t be able to access her final row of perks, unless another mod adds the brigadier rank.

Compatibility

Torque is added in a similar way to Jane Kelly and starting SPARK, and can run fine with both of them enabled from my testing.

If running RPGO, do NOT use CPS with this, Your game WILL fail to load if both Community Promotion screen/New Promotion screen by default and RPG overhaul are run at the same time!

Cooked Assets

This mods content files have now been cooked! Meaning smaller file size and better performance when loading packages from this mod! Due to this however, the cooked content files cannot be opened in the UDK, thus, here[drive.google.com] is the link to the uncooked mod contents if you wish to use them.
