After seeing this post on r/themoddingofisaac, I knew I wanted to make this. So, just like the title says, here it is! Planetariums in Greed Mode! Also, thanks to everyone who checked this mod out! When I first started making this I never intended for it to get above maybe 50 views, let alone on The Week’s Most Popular!

How it works

It works just like regular planetariums, spawning when you enter a new floor with the proper chance, only with a few changes:
1. Just like normal planetariums, the chance starts at a base 1%, however, you get +15% chance for each item room skipped (meaning +30% if both are skipped).
2. When entering a new floor, you will get the message The stars align… if a planetarium spawned.
3. Starting combat will cause the planetarium to disappear.
4. After a planetarium has been entered, the chance becomes stuck at the default 1%, meaning no extra chance from skipping further item rooms.

Compatibility

Works with Greed Mode Improved.
Works mostly with Greed Mode Alt Path, but has a few minor issues.
Works fully with Andromeda now.
Unfortunately, doesn’t work with Planetarium Chance (maybe some day).
Any mod that alters any aspect of the vanilla planetariums won’t work with this mod, unless I say otherwise.

Debug Commands

planchance: Tells you your planetarium chance for the next floor.
plangar: If possible, guarantees a planetarium on the next floor (mainly for testing).
plantest: Teleports you to a random planetarium (mainly for testing).
plandebug: Displays useful debug information on screen, to help pinpoint bugs.
forcelayout (number): Guarantees a specific layout in your next planetarium.

Notes

Report any bugs you find (there might be quite a few). If you have a bad experience with this mod, please leave some feedback and don’t just resort to a bad review, as I am constantly trying to improve this mod. Also, if you enjoyed this mod, go check out my other mod:
