Description:

"Glory of Rome Remastered – Make Rome Great again" is a Total Overhaul Mod in Development featuring a maxed out Map, Units, Buildings, Gameplay Mechanics, Scripts and more Candy. Recommanded Difficulty VH/VH or VH/H – the Game is ballanced to be played with VH Campaign and Very Hard Battle Difficulty, but you lower to your liking!

Important, If you have unit cards showing only vanilla peasants?
Change the graphics settings, ‘unit colour scheme’ to realistic.

GoRR is in english language only atm. Starting the game with any other langage will ctd.

The Mod developes in Iteration stages. Version 0.2, which was frist released in Februar 2024 will slowly iron out and evolve into the next stage 0.3. So stay tuned šŸ™‚

Content of 0.2 beta – fully playable in the download:

•- Detailed and greatly improved Map with 817 Regions
•- 105 playable Factions + 13 unplayable Factions. Special: Nuragic Rebellion in Sardinia, emergent Servile Uprisings (Roman Slaves+Gladiators), Punic Mercenaries Revolt Faction (Mathos) for Carthage, emergent Saka and Baktrian Kingdom in the east and 3 Roman Sub-Faction (Senate, Latin Colonies and Italic Allies). Some bigger Faction face civilwar with a seperate Cicilwar Pretenderfactions.
•- New Warhornsounds
•- Signifer OneĀ“s Animation
•- Most Barbarian and Desert Factions have the ability to create a Horde and Migrate, some of them start as Horde at the Beginning of the Campaign
•- 17 new Religions
•- Reworked Roman Republic – one playable (red) Roman Faction with all Families, SPQR Superfaction in Latium + 1 Roman Allied Factions + 1 Roman/Latin Colonies faction + 1 Red roman civil war Faction
•- Kart Hadast, Ptolemaike Empire, Seleucid Empire and Roman Republic have Shadowfactions for internal Civilwar possible
•- Nuragic Rebellion – if any other Faction beside Kart Hadast conquer Sardinia, they will rise up and fight for indepedence
•- Updated Recruitment, updated/expanded rosters for most factions + some new (missing) units like Barbarian Slingers, Archers, Hypaspistai, Heavy Persian Noble Cav, Heavy Numidian Infantry
•- reworked unitstats (ballanced for very hard or hard battle difficulty)
•- 4 turns per Year (3 Summer, 1 Winter)
•- added most of Danymok unitĀ“s update
•- reworked temples + bonuses – now all temples can get updated from other cultures and factions to your culture
•- new buildings once per faction: treasury building
•- new political, government, taxation and economic buildings for most factions
•- updated factionrelations and diplomacy for a more active and aggressive Campaigns
•- updated Mercenary Pools (every Region now has one…)
•- updated Banners and Icons for all 118 Factions
•- "hordecamps" for steppe factions, basicly sets up an indestructable camp in foreign lands
•- faction core attitudes and faction relationships (behaviour of factions in the campaign)
•- expanded buildings for other cultures (Temples, Riverports, expanded mines, traderoutes, cultural buildings and much more)
•- reworked buildingtreeĀ“s and costs
•- reworked unitcosts and economy – still ongoing
•- added Dagovax Barbarian Fortified Ramparts (instead of Stone Walls)
•- alot of Bugfixing – My Claim is: every release has to be fully stable and playable.
