Mutambara
Mutambara is a fictional province in the Zambezi region which borders Botswana, Angola, Zambia, Namibia and Zimbabwe. The province consists of small towns, villages and slums with one main river which runs from the northern border to the southern. The river is dried up for the majority of the year which drives up famine, the agriculture is non existent other than what can be harvested from the palms and areas around the dried riverbed.
The region has suffered from a decade long conflict between various political factions with racial segregation causing tension between villages and slums. The main government faction, backed by South African, Rhodesian and Western mercenaries, still holds power after a second successful election and continues to push for international recognition. Communist backed factions claim the elections are rigged and continue to carry out attacks on government military targets across the province.
The UN have criticised the leadership of both main factions for not coming to a fair agreement in the short lived peace talks and stress the importance of preventing civilian casualties.

The terrain and concept is based around the Rhodesian Bush Wars and Angolan Civil War era. Uniforms and assets in the screenshots are from Spearpoint Alpha mod. Highly recommend.
