[WotC] EYExtender
Currently: EYExtender, Future: Expanded Cosmetic Options – Head
This mod allows you to use custom materials on the eyes of soldiers. No more having to use the Upper Face Props section to replace soldier’s eyes; the Eye Color option allows you to change that.
New eye options can be added to this mod’s XComContent.ini with instructions on adding new eye colors to the game, or custom eye colors with custom textures or materials. Other mods can make this a requirement if they plan on adding more eye textures to the game.

- Cannot customize eye color with the color picker with One Million Colors, but the palette options are still avaliable.
- Fix some bugs, if any.
- Custom color selector that does not rely on existing palettes.
- One Million Colors, except the custom color picker doesn’t work.
- Unrestriced Customization Redux, but the next major update will drop support for UCR.
- Iridar’s Appearance Manager. Future updates will heavily rely on this mod.
- If unsure, read the description of the other mods or pray, whichever is easier.
Q: Will these eyes persist in the character pool, even when I export it and give it to another player?
A: Yes, it should serialize to the character pool and to the disk. As long as the player has the mod enabled and with the same XComContent.ini file, the eye parts should persist on the soldier. If the mod is missing or if XComContent.ini does not have the specific eye template defined, then the soldier will default to Eye Palette 0 [Dark Brown].
Q: Why Appearance Manager necessary? Can’t you support UCR?
A: Right now, both are supported, but eventually AppMgr will be a hard requirement for this mod. AppMgr has the ability to serialize content to disk. UCR does not.
Q: Vanilla version?
A: Not really, no.
