Rename Tribal Era to Late Antiquity
Manual Installation[http//hhttps] (Use if you’re having issues downloading on Steam)
Have you wondered why the vanilla game has a "Tribal Era" when it was the time period where powerful, urbanized states like the Abbasids, Byzantines, and Tang existed? Do you want to LARP as an academic historian specializing in ancient and medieval history? Do pop history narratives of the outdated concept of the Dark Ages annoy you?
Then this mini-mod might be for you! Should be compatible with pretty much anything. Also, huge credits to Soraya for providing the localization for stuff that references the era.
Late Antiquity is the term used by scholars of history to denote the period of transition from Classical Antiquity to the Middle Ages. The exact years it covers varies depending on which scholar you ask, but Peter Brown, the historian who is credited with popularizing the concept in his 1971 work The World of Late Antiquity, places it from the 3rd to 8th centuries, which roughly correlates with vanilla CK3’s timeframe for the Tribal Era.
